Dexta Africa develops residential communities and property opportunities for individuals, families and investors across Nigeria and abroad. They needed a website that feels as considered as their developments, and a way for their team to run it without a developer.
I turned the Figma designs into a fast, animated website and built a private dashboard behind it. From there the Dexta team manages properties, articles, testimonials and every enquiry that comes in.

The brief was a premium, sleek website that helps people discover developments, understand them and take the next step, whether that’s a question, an inspection or an investment conversation.
The website covers the full journey:
a home page that introduces the brand
a property listing, with a detailed page for each development (gallery, highlights and key features)
an Insights section with category filters and long-form articles
About, Contact and Book an Inspection pages
The booking form only offers available dates and times. It shows a live summary of the visit before the visitor submits.
Motion was a big part of the brief, and every animation stays subtle:
headings rise in line by line, and cards reveal as they scroll into view
clicking a property or article card grows its photo into the cover of the next page
a testimonial quote darkens word by word as you read
the hero video expands from its thumbnail into the player
All of it respects reduced-motion settings.
Behind the site is a custom dashboard with role-based access for Admins, Editors and Sales. The team can:
publish properties and articles
edit page copy
manage the team, testimonials and partner logos, with drag-and-drop ordering
handle leads, with enquiries and inspections arriving in real time, notes and status tracking, and email notifications

The project is built with Next.js, React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. Data lives in a Postgres database, images are stored in the cloud, and transactional email is set up on a verified sending domain.
Performance:
images are served in modern formats with blurred previews while they load
pages update the moment content changes in the dashboard
Security:
sign-in uses a password plus an emailed one-time code
codes are rate-limited against guessing
every dashboard action checks the user’s role on the server
standard security headers protect against clickjacking and content sniffing
The result is a site that matches the design closely and a team that can run their own website day to day.
